What you pay for
Checking 250 suppliers against the register here costs nothing, needs no account, and gives you a dated record you can forward to an auditor. What you pay for is being told. We read the register every morning, join it to the Companies House record, and when one of your suppliers changes you hear it from us rather than from an enforcement officer.
Why this is yours to do
Under section 34 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 the duty to check the carrier sits with the business that produced the waste. It does not transfer with the skip. There is no fixed penalty for a business that fails that duty: the route is prosecution, and the fine on conviction is unlimited. A separate fixed penalty applies if you cannot produce your waste transfer notes when the Environment Agency asks. Environmental Protection Act 1990, sections 34 and 34A, read 27 August 2026.
We have not found a published count of how often a waste producer is prosecuted under section 34, and we are not going to estimate one. What we can tell you is what the register said about each of your suppliers on the day you used them, and the day we read it.
What this does not do
This reads a public register and the Companies House record. It approves nobody, rates nobody, and cannot tell you how a contractor will behave on site. What it gives you is dated evidence that you checked, with the source beside every fact. What the whole register looks like behind your list.
The small print, in plain words
- The price shown is the price you pay. Nothing is added at the checkout screen.
- Fourteen days to change your mind. If you cancel within fourteen days of subscribing we refund you in full, whether or not you have used it, and you do not have to say why. The terms say so.
- Cancel whenever you like, from your own billing page, and you keep the service to the end of the period you have paid for.
- Every plan renews automatically, monthly or yearly, until you stop it. Before an annual renewal we write to you first, rather than hoping you have forgotten.
- If we put prices up, yours stays where it is until your renewal. Existing customers are not the ones who pay for a new price list.
- England only, today. We hold the complete England register. Scotland is SEPA and Wales is Natural Resources Wales, separate registers we do not hold and have not dated.
