There is a page on this site about your firm, because your registration is on the public register. Most people who reach these pages are searching for one firm by name. The register holds no phone number, email or website for anybody, so that page has no way for a caller to reach you. Claim it, tell us if anything on it is wrong, and choose what appears. If you do nothing it stays published and is re-read from the register every morning, the same as the other 10,586.

You hire waste carriers

If a contractor you hired fly-tips your waste, the investigation follows it back to you, and you will be asked what you did to check them. Two thirds of the register is lower tier: 277,332 of the 425,038 registrations. Lower tier is mostly for businesses moving waste they produced themselves, so a firm that has shown you a registration number has not yet shown you it can take yours. The number to look for begins CBDU.

Monitoring reads your whole supplier list against the register every morning, emails you the morning after one drops off it, and keeps a dated record of what the register said about each supplier on the day it was read.

How the monitoring works

Pasting up to 250 suppliers is free and needs no account. Monitoring from £29 a month.

We read the Environment Agency's register of waste carriers for England every morning. It held 425,038 registrations when we read it on 1 October 2026. Scotland and Wales keep separate registers, which we do not hold. Every fact we publish carries where it came from and the day we read it.

A firm that carries waste and also hires subcontractors will want both halves, so take either door first. If something we publish about your firm is wrong, email us and a person will answer. You do not need an account.
