Categories describe the waste this registration permits the business to carry. They are not a list of services, and they say nothing about how well the work is done.

The Environment Agency's register does not hold contact details for anybody, so we have none to publish. If this is your firm, you can add them.

Is this your firm?

Your name is not on this page. We publish the trading name only, never the personal name, the street address or the full postcode. Less about you than the Environment Agency publishes.

The register holds no way to reach you. Add one, and correct anything above. Neither costs anything.

Five signs a Trading Standards team asked people to watch for

Bromley Council's Trading Standards team published a warning in March 2026 after reports of fly-tipping by unregistered collectors offering cheap rubbish removal. The signs it listed were cash-only payments, no paperwork or receipts, no business address or contact details, very low prices compared with legitimate carriers, and unmarked vehicles. It added that a trader who does not give their waste carrier registration number should not be used.

London Borough of Bromley, Trading Standards alert: Beware of unlicensed waste collectors. Read 2026-09-04. Six questions worth asking before you book explains this in full.

What the register settles, and what to ask the firm

We publish the register. Here is where it stops.

It does tell you

  • That the business is registered to transport waste
  • Which tier the registration sits in
  • When the registration expires

It does not tell you

  • That the work will be done well
  • Anything about complaints, insurance or disputes
  • That anyone has inspected their vehicles or staff
