The Environment Agency's register does not hold contact details for anybody, so we have none to publish. If this is your firm, you can add them.

Is this your firm?

Your name is not on this page. We publish the trading name only, never the personal name, the street address or the full postcode. Less about you than the Environment Agency publishes.

The register holds no way to reach you. Add one, and correct anything above. Neither costs anything.

A firearm found in a house after a death

The Home Office guide on firearms licensing law notes that weapons are sometimes held in ignorance of their illegality, kept in homes where they have been overlooked or forgotten, or come into a person’s hands through the death of a relative. It says a permit under section 7 of the Firearms Act 1968 should normally be issued to authorise temporary possession by a relative or the executor of a deceased person of firearms forming part of the deceased’s property, and that the estate keeps title to anything surrendered to police.

Home Office (GOV.UK), Guide on firearms licensing law, chapters 6 and 24. Read 2026-09-04. What happens to the things you cannot keep explains this in full.

What the register settles, and what to ask the firm

We publish the register. Here is where it stops.

It does tell you

  • That the business is registered to transport waste
  • Which tier the registration sits in
  • When the registration expires

It does not tell you

  • That the work will be done well
  • Anything about complaints, insurance or disputes
  • That anyone has inspected their vehicles or staff
