The Environment Agency's register does not hold contact details for anybody, so we have none to publish. If this is your firm, you can add them.

Is this your firm?

Your name is not on this page. We publish the trading name only, never the personal name, the street address or the full postcode. Less about you than the Environment Agency publishes.

The register holds no way to reach you. Add one, and correct anything above. Neither costs anything.

What a notice of intention to sell must say, and how it travels

Part II of Schedule 1 to the Torts (Interference with Goods) Act 1977 sets out the notice. It must give the bailee's name and address, enough particulars of the goods and where they are held, the date on or after which a sale is proposed, and any amount the bailor owed before the notice. The gap before that date must give a reasonable opportunity to take delivery, and where money was already owed it must be at least three months. The notice goes by registered letter or recorded delivery. Paragraph 7 bars giving the notice, or selling under it, while the bailee knows the bailor is disputing what is claimed as due.

legislation.gov.uk (The National Archives), Torts (Interference with Goods) Act 1977, Schedule 1: uncollected goods. Read 2026-09-04. Clearing a rented property: landlord and tenant explains this in full.

What the register settles, and what to ask the firm

We publish the register. Here is where it stops.

It does tell you

  • That the business is registered to transport waste
  • Which tier the registration sits in
  • When the registration expires

It does not tell you

  • That the work will be done well
  • Anything about complaints, insurance or disputes
  • That anyone has inspected their vehicles or staff
