The Environment Agency's register does not hold contact details for anybody, so we have none to publish. If this is your firm, you can add them.

Is this your firm?

Your name is not on this page. We publish the trading name only, never the personal name, the street address or the full postcode. Less about you than the Environment Agency publishes.

The register holds no way to reach you. Add one, and correct anything above. Neither costs anything.

£480 for a householder whose waste was dumped by somebody else

Canterbury City Council reported on 16 June 2025 that a woman had pleaded guilty at Margate Magistrates' Court to failing in her duty of care to pass her waste to an authorised waste carrier. She had given it to an unregistered waste collector who dumped it in Whitstable in April 2023. She was fined £200, with an £80 surcharge and £200 of costs. The council said it was never able to establish who actually dumped the load.

What the register settles, and what to ask the firm

We publish the register. Here is where it stops.

It does tell you

  • That the business is registered to transport waste
  • Which tier the registration sits in
  • When the registration expires

It does not tell you

  • That the work will be done well
  • Anything about complaints, insurance or disputes
  • That anyone has inspected their vehicles or staff
