Commercial & trade waste

Categories describe the waste this registration permits the business to carry. They are not a list of services, and they say nothing about how well the work is done.

The Environment Agency's register does not hold contact details for anybody, so we have none to publish. If this is your firm, you can add them.

Is this your firm?

Your name is not on this page. We publish the trading name only, never the personal name, the street address or the full postcode. Less about you than the Environment Agency publishes.

The register holds no way to reach you. Add one, and correct anything above. Neither costs anything.

Van and trailer permits differ from one council to the next

Most councils make you register a van, pick-up or trailer before it can come in, and the terms are local rather than national. Oxfordshire's scheme allows ten visits in twelve months, one permit per address, and waives the permit for a vehicle hired for three days or less. Dudley issues permits free of charge, allows twelve visits in twelve months, and waives it for a hire of two days or less. Check yours before you load up.

Oxfordshire County Council, Household Waste Recycling Centres: Waste Acceptance Policy, version 8. Read 2026-09-03. House clearance, skip or man and van explains this in full.

What the register settles, and what to ask the firm

We publish the register. Here is where it stops.

It does tell you

  • That the business is registered to transport waste
  • Which tier the registration sits in
  • When the registration expires

It does not tell you

  • That the work will be done well
  • Anything about complaints, insurance or disputes
  • That anyone has inspected their vehicles or staff
