Asbestos and the Health and Safety Executive licence
The Health and Safety Executive licenses higher-risk work with asbestos and says most of that work must only be done by a licensed contractor. It states that 'it is an offence to carry out licensable work with asbestos without a licence and you could be prosecuted'.
