House & estate clearance

Categories describe the waste this registration permits the business to carry. They are not a list of services, and they say nothing about how well the work is done.

The Environment Agency's register does not hold contact details for anybody, so we have none to publish. If this is your firm, you can add them.

Is this your firm?

Your name is not on this page. We publish the trading name only, never the personal name, the street address or the full postcode. Less about you than the Environment Agency publishes.

The register holds no way to reach you. Add one, and correct anything above. Neither costs anything.

With no will, the estate vests in the Public Trustee

Section 9(1) of the Administration of Estates Act 1925 says that “where a person dies intestate, his real and personal estate shall vest in the Public Trustee until the grant of administration”. Section 9(2) does the same where a will leaves no executor able to obtain probate. Section 9(3) adds that this vesting gives the Public Trustee no beneficial interest in the property and imposes no duty, obligation or liability in respect of it.

legislation.gov.uk, Administration of Estates Act 1925, section 9: vesting of estate in Public Trustee where intestacy or lack of executors. Read 2026-09-04. Probate and possessions: what has to wait explains this in full.

What the register settles, and what to ask the firm

We publish the register. Here is where it stops.

It does tell you

  • That the business is registered to transport waste
  • Which tier the registration sits in
  • When the registration expires

It does not tell you

  • That the work will be done well
  • Anything about complaints, insurance or disputes
  • That anyone has inspected their vehicles or staff
