The Environment Agency's register does not hold contact details for anybody, so we have none to publish. If this is your firm, you can add them.

Is this your firm?

Your name is not on this page. We publish the trading name only, never the personal name, the street address or the full postcode. Less about you than the Environment Agency publishes.

The register holds no way to reach you. Add one, and correct anything above. Neither costs anything.

A skip on a Hackney street cost over £5,000 in court

Hackney Council reported on 3 March 2017 that a skip hire company was found guilty at Thames Magistrates Court that January of putting a skip on the public highway without the council's permission. It was fined £3,250 with £1,830 in costs. The council said at the time that residents and businesses hiring a skip should ask the skip company whether it has the council's permission for it, and that an unpermitted skip can obstruct emergency vehicles.

Hackney Council, Skip a licence, face a fine. Read 2026-09-04. Six questions worth asking before you book explains this in full.

What the register settles, and what to ask the firm

We publish the register. Here is where it stops.

It does tell you

  • That the business is registered to transport waste
  • Which tier the registration sits in
  • When the registration expires

It does not tell you

  • That the work will be done well
  • Anything about complaints, insurance or disputes
  • That anyone has inspected their vehicles or staff
