Section 45AZD of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 applies where a person collects recyclable waste in two or more streams together in reliance on section 45AZB(6). That person must prepare a written assessment of why they consider the section relied on applies. Section 45AZB(6) allows streams to be collected together where separate collection is not technically or economically practicable, or has no significant environmental benefit.
