Rubbish & junk removal

Categories describe the waste this registration permits the business to carry. They are not a list of services, and they say nothing about how well the work is done.

The Environment Agency's register does not hold contact details for anybody, so we have none to publish. If this is your firm, you can add them.

Is this your firm?

Your name is not on this page. We publish the trading name only, never the personal name, the street address or the full postcode. Less about you than the Environment Agency publishes.

The register holds no way to reach you. Add one, and correct anything above. Neither costs anything.

Do nothing and the page stays as it is.

Who counts as an authorised person

The waste duty of care code of practice says that as an occupier of a domestic property you have a duty to take all reasonable measures available to you to ensure you only transfer household waste produced on your property to an authorised person. Its list of authorised people includes the local authority that provides your normal waste collection service, someone who has a valid registration as a carrier, broker or dealer of waste, and an operator of a waste site with an appropriate environmental permit or exemption.

GOV.UK, Waste duty of care: code of practice, section 5. Read 2026-09-03. Who is allowed to take your things away explains this in full.

What the register settles, and what to ask the firm

We publish the register. Here is where it stops.

It does tell you

  • That the business is registered to transport waste
  • Which tier the registration sits in
  • When the registration expires

It does not tell you

  • That the work will be done well
  • Anything about complaints, insurance or disputes
  • That anyone has inspected their vehicles or staff
