Construction recyclables are not for the mixed skip

Defra guidance on workplace recycling says construction sites must recycle the listed materials separately from other construction waste, including cardboard packaging from new appliances and food or packaging waste from contractors on site. It says those materials should not be mixed or compacted with other construction waste under any circumstances, and suggests agreeing an approach with the collector, such as bagging cardboard on top of a skip.
