House & estate clearance

Categories describe the waste this registration permits the business to carry. They are not a list of services, and they say nothing about how well the work is done.

The Environment Agency's register does not hold contact details for anybody, so we have none to publish. If this is your firm, you can add them.

Is this your firm?

Your name is not on this page. We publish the trading name only, never the personal name, the street address or the full postcode. Less about you than the Environment Agency publishes.

The register holds no way to reach you. Add one, and correct anything above. Neither costs anything.

Six months from the grant, and what that protects

Section 4 of the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 says a claim under section 2 cannot be brought more than six months after representation is first taken out, except with the court’s permission. Section 20(1) says the Act does not make a personal representative liable for having distributed the estate after that six months on the ground that they should have allowed for a late claim, while leaving intact any power to recover what was distributed.

legislation.gov.uk, Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, section 4: time-limit for applications. Read 2026-09-04. Probate and possessions: what has to wait explains this in full.

What the register settles, and what to ask the firm

We publish the register. Here is where it stops.

It does tell you

  • That the business is registered to transport waste
  • Which tier the registration sits in
  • When the registration expires

It does not tell you

  • That the work will be done well
  • Anything about complaints, insurance or disputes
  • That anyone has inspected their vehicles or staff
